Awesome art to come; I’m working on it guys. Finished a sketchbook and have so much to share with the internet.

This was a small challenge my friend gave me: draw the manliest angels. I totally won by the way.

Thanks creative writing. FOR MAKING ME WRITE A POEM ABOUT DEPRESSION, THEN READ A BUNCH OF DEPRESSING POETRY AND FICTION RIGHT AFTER IT. Oh, and too much work done in the wee hours of the night. (This is largely unavoidable though.)

GPOY-no just kidding! Finally, photos of the Orifice project. Probably by far my favorite piece of art that I have ever made. Just kidding. But it ranks!

Next is the “video-performance, inspired by the book” assignment. Don’t worry, it’s clean.

dpi and file saving will be the death of me. I really believe that this time.

A themed illustration for Kappa Pi, the fraternity I’m in. The theme was “evolve” so I went with a weird sort of nature-versus-man-meets-positive-nature-fertility-meets-negative-human-fertility imagery. Essentially, it’s an environmental piece.

I should really start signing my art more often. I keep forgetting and going back and doing it in the digital file. But there it is- my insignia of KEB in one letter.

A small project done for the art fraternity I’m in. We simply had to make a work that was 5x5 inches, and this was my result. A small family portrait of Henry, Damian, and Henry’s half sister who’s name I still haven’t settled on yet.

Aah, now that I am reunited with my scanner, I can upload some quality sketchbook stuff! Not that all of it is *quality*, but that’s irrelevant.

I thought it would be fun to post what I’ve done to the front of my sketchbook (and plan to do similarly in the future ones) so that people will actually return them. A sort of more motivational image. Before it might have just been a cute little drawing with a small message, but after losing the previous sketchbook and having the lady say “I know that most people wouldn’t bother with returning this”, I decided to put a little more effort into it!

Terrible image quality is terrible.

I consistently forget to tag my own posts… weirdd.

Bought a sketchbook of brown paper. SO MANY IDEAS. I literally woke up in the middle of the night and had two art ideers and almost didn’t draw them out BUT I DID on a notecard and now I still have them!

So much sketchbook scanning. It’s been a loooong time that I’ve forgotten to upload my own proof that I’ve actually been active. Usually I just don’t have anything!

So after four six consecutive upload attempts of this image, I learn that tumblr doesn’t support CMYK. I didn’t know that because I never had the option for CMYK anyways. That is to say, I GOT CS6 (student edition)!!!!!!!!! And suddenly it seems like a scary waste of money, haha! No, it was not of course. I’m just still a newbie with this digital art thing… expect more to improve soon!

Wow, turns out Richmond has a train going right through it. Oh yeah, I’m in college now. Yippee!

Been feeling low lately? It’s no wonder with the crap the media shoves down our throats.

Been watching Anne of Green Gables. I’m not going to lie: I’ve never read the book(s?). But I am OBSESSED with the movies (re-obsessed. I didn’t really like them as a child), and it’s probably all due to the amaaaaazing costuming. Oh my.

Also, turns out I’ve used the tag artgasm before. Huh.

Working on making my art not so piratable… I keep naming the files “drawing blah blah ‘baby’ “.

OHMAGAWD what the hell is this crazy girl up to? This stick thing doesn’t even make sense anymore. I LOVE IT. Things will get pieced together soon though. I just started some bridge pieces- I’ll put up the wips soon. :} Maybe Spring break won’t go to waste…
