A themed illustration for Kappa Pi, the fraternity I’m in. The theme was “evolve” so I went with a weird sort of nature-versus-man-meets-positive-nature-fertility-meets-negative-human-fertility imagery. Essentially, it’s an environmental piece.
I should really start signing my art more often. I keep forgetting and going back and doing it in the digital file. But there it is- my insignia of KEB in one letter.
A small project done for the art fraternity I’m in. We simply had to make a work that was 5x5 inches, and this was my result. A small family portrait of Henry, Damian, and Henry’s half sister who’s name I still haven’t settled on yet.
I had both classes cancelled today, so naturally with a rhetoric intro to write, I spent the day drawing in Shafer. (okay okay, I did spend the rest of the day on the intro- just morning and afternoon drawing in Shafer).
I post the first picture, because literally I had one of those moments where I was like “KATHLEEN WHY DO YOU EVEN DRAW JUST STOP NOW AND DO SOMETHING ELSE GEEZ.”
And then the second drawing happened and it was like “PRAISE JESUS I’M SAVED”.
Temperamental? NOT AT ALL.
Working on making my art not so piratable… I keep naming the files “drawing blah blah ‘baby’ “.

Aw, a throwback! Last year’s studio concentration: rocks. ♥ I made this into a card for my dad’s birthday- a sort of positive reinforcement for him.
